With over ten years of professional experience, Nathalie Frégeau has been part of the legal team since 2020 and specializes in business immigration. She works closely with the lawyers on the preparation, coordination and follow-up of complex files involving entrepreneurs, company directors and foreign workers.
Her thorough knowledge of immigration procedures, her rigour and her ability to coordinate the successive stages of a file make her an essential resource within the team. She contributes to the preliminary analysis of files, to the gathering and verification of documentation, and to compliance with the applicable requirements and deadlines. She also makes sure clients receive structured, attentive support suited to their situation.
Her varied professional background has allowed her to develop solid skills in file management, communication and administrative coordination. Her multidisciplinary university studies took her to Concordia University and to Université de Montréal. She is today furthering her training in corporate law and governance at Université TÉLUQ, building knowledge that complements her experience in business immigration.

Mahaut Watrelos is a legal counsel in the corporate and contract law departments of BDG Lawyers/Avocats in Montréal. She supports companies on incorporation, organization and governance matters, as well as on their day-to-day and strategic operations.
Her practice covers the drafting and review of deeds, agreements and corporate documents, along with support on reorganizations, disposals and the structuring of corporate groups, including cross-border transactions in a French-Canadian context. She approaches files with an understanding of the issues facing internationally active companies that is at once legal and operational.
She holds a law degree with honours and an academic specialization in business law obtained in France, and has developed a technical, rigorous and pragmatic approach. Her path led her naturally to continue her practice in Québec and to join BDG Lawyers/Avocats, serving a clientele made up mainly of international companies and groups.

Marie Jouvence is a legal counsel in the employment law department of BDG Lawyers/Avocats in Montréal. With six years’ experience, she provides strategic advice and rigorous support in this field.
She works mainly on sensitive HR procedures — disciplinary measures, dismissals and terminations — and drafts contractual documents: employment contracts, amendments and specific clauses such as non-competition. Her expertise extends to supporting restructurings, mergers and business acquisitions, including social audits and internal reorganizations. She also practises alongside Nathalie Frégeau in immigration law.
She holds a master’s degree in employment law and human resources management from Université Catholique de Lille, combining legal rigour with an understanding of HR issues. She settled in Québec as part of a French company’s development project in Canada, before joining BDG Lawyers/Avocats.

Léonie Diouf is a bar school candidate at BDG Lawyers/Avocats in Montréal, where she works mainly in corporate and transactional law, as well as in pre-litigation civil, commercial and employment matters.
She holds two master’s degrees in law — private business law (Université Paris-Sorbonne) and European and international business law (Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour) — together with a certificate in Québec law. Having passed the Barreau du Québec examinations, she is continuing her training at the École du Barreau du Québec and expects to be sworn in in June 2027.
Her experience in Parisian firms and leading companies has allowed her to build a varied business law practice covering transactional and contractual work. Since January 2026 she has been involved at BDG in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and the drafting of commercial agreements. Her dual French and Québec training equips her to handle files with cross-border implications.

A graduate of the ESGCI in Paris with a master’s degree in International Business, Emma Brousse chose to settle in Montréal to continue her career.
Within the firm she is the first point of contact for clients, making sure they receive a warm, professional and personal welcome. Bilingual in French and English, she guides and assists clients at every stage of their procedures, and provides administrative support to Me Frédéric Burot.
Drawing on the marketing and communications experience she gained with the world leader in private higher education, she also contributes to developing the firm’s communications and to raising its profile.

A former tax auditor with France’s Direction Générale des Impôts, Bruno practises as a lawyer for a corporate client base, with widely recognized expertise in tax litigation, for companies and individuals alike. He is admitted to the Paris Bar and to the Barreau du Québec, Montréal section, where he founded FLO Avocat in 2022.
